Umhlametsi
Private Nature Reserve is a place where time stops and life.
The reserve has two non-perennial rivers meandering through
the area and draws a diversity of wildlife and birds. White
Rhino, Lion, Buffalo, Leopard, Cheetah, Eland, Nyala and other
African animals can be discovered on open vehicles.
The reserve is situated in one of Africa's most treasured and
prolific wildlife regions. It is located on the western boundary
of the Kruger National Park. Umhlametsi offers you an encounter
with the African bushveld in your own way and in your own time.
The riverine habitat, open grasslands, mixed woodland and many
vantage points and game hides ensure the opportunity of seeing
a diversity of bird and wildlife. Rangers will plan walks and
game drives according to guests' requirements.
The reserve has a number of superb vantage points with magnificent
views of the Drakensberg Mountains and the surrounding bushveld.
