Located on the banks of a river in the mountainous wilderness that is home to an extraordinary diversity of wildlife and flora. Facilities and Activities:
For bush enthusiasts, morning and evening game drives are organised. They can enjoy bush walks and bird watching too.
For relaxation and rejuvenation, we offer full beauty treatments at the bush spa.
For the fitness fanatic, the lodge boasts it's own gym in natural surroundings.
For the wine connoisseur, a wine tasting can be arranged in our own wine cellar.
For the shopper and browser, the lodge's curio shop with book selection will keep guests entertained.

Accommodation:
Guests have a choice of nine luxuriously furnished suites; all fitted Victorian baths, inside and outside showers, private patios and mini bars.
We have five standard suites, 1, 2, 3a, 3b, 4. Suites 1 and 4 are not as spacious as the luxury suites, but do have an outside jaquzzi. Suites 3a and 3b has an interleading door and ideal for a family.
The four luxury suites, 5, 6, 7, 8 all with air con are more spacious and luxurious as the standard suites. Suite 5 has a private lounge with fireplace and outside jacuzzi. Suite 6 and 7 has a private lounge with fireplace, satellite TV, a private patio and splash pool. Ideal for a family or a small group of four. Suite 8 has a private lounge, fire place and a spa bath in the bedroom.

Cuisine:
Gourmet meals are served in the main dining area and under a star-studded sky in the boma. Dine in an intimate wine cellar, enjoy starlight boma dinners, with traditional potjiekos and other Gourmet dishes and be entertained by our resident Shibula singers and dancers.

The main deck overlooks the waterhole while listening to the nightly antics of the resident baboon troop, private dining in the Shibula Royal Suite, the Presidential Suite or in the wine cellar. Table settings are done in an artistic manner by fully trained personnel. All dietary requirements are catered for.
