Hoedspruit Region

The Hoedspruit area stretches from the Greater Kruger National Park in the east to the Mpumalanga Drakensberg in the west.

This area known as the Lowveld incorporates an area rich in diversity with terrific game reserves, beautiful scenery, excellent safari and country lodges, good tourism infrastructure with airports catering to regional and charter carriers flying to the area. The Hoedspruit region is centrally located with good access to the northern Sabi Sand, the Timbavati, the Manyeleti, the Valley of the Olifants and the numerous private wildlife conservancies.

The development of tourism infrastructure such as airport access through Phalaborwa and Hoedspruit has added tremendous value to the conservation and tourism industries within the region.
